Statement in the HoC on Tommy Ferreira and Michael Gill

I stood in the House of Commons today to speak about Tommy Ferreira and Michael Gill, the two young men who left Lawrence Harbour on November 13th and sadly have yet to return home.
We have a responsibility to ensure those who go out in our waters will return home. We must continue to improve our policies and regulations to make our oceans safer.
I will continue to advocate for the needs of our seafarers here in Ottawa.
