Federal Government and Air Canada's Deal

Our government told Canadians that we would do whatever we could to ensure that they could get the refunds they deserved from cancelled air travel due to COVID-19. Yesterday, we delivered.
We promised the tourism sector that we would do whatever possible to ensure their industry could rebound from the pandemic. Yesterday, we delivered.
We told workers in the airline industry that we would fight for their jobs and their pensions. Yesterday, we delivered.
We still have work to do, but yesterday our government was able to secure with Air Canada:
refunds for unused tickets
bringing back regional routes
support for jobs, collective agreements and pensions
have Air Canada participate in our economic recovery
